Kroi is actually a fellow member of Drome Tammet. Currently he's still working in the Drome WetWorks. Every Tammet Dromer has to perform a term of service in both the DryWorks and the Wetworks before they're eligible to participate in the Fabrication. It better helps them understand the full scale of just how complex the routine operations of their home can be and how important constant maintenance is to keep everything running smoothly.

Kroi, like so many other WetWorkers, actually spends most of his days tuned in to the HubCasts and ChatterCasts. But as long as the Flush is successful, the water is running, and the drains in the Medical levels stay clear, no one's going to begrudge him that.
