I think now’s as good a time as any for a little August Update for the site and other projects I’m working on.
Bad news: Today is the last day of my vacation week from the day job.
Good news: I feel like I accomplished at least some of what I wanted to do. I know I’ll never hit everything on my to do list, but as long as I finish a big project or two I’m happy. In this case I finished an addition to the After We Praey’s band art.
I told myself I was going to knock out page 3 for ConQuest this past week, but unfortunately that didn’t quite happen. However I did manage to lock down the rough art for the page and it’s now ready for inking. I’m hoping by this time next it’ll be ready for coloring. Upcoming highlights for August include:
-Finishing ConQuest page 3 and starting page 4
-Linking art pieces to my Etsy shop to allow easy print purchases.
-Further site tweaking
-Start up work on the next commission piece. This one’s based on the movie Coraline.
